S15: SCAMMERS
Pay attention to scammer
Welcome to another series of breakfast with blockchain guys, it's been a long two weeks, from scarcity of naira to election wahala to post-election syndrome. i know we all have different views to election scenes but please dont allow it to after your relationship with people. there is always a little good even in the worst person.
we are always here to motivate ourselves, and you don't know when and how you are going to meet a malicious person.
i want you to know that the more we use this technology, the more we get familiar with it. the more we identify the errors, and the more we position ourselves to fix it.
Wale share experience
Trust: topman trusted me that's why he doesnt validate my transactions with him
Be vigilant: the moment i knew the first failure point, i became more vigilant
Be calm/patient in the time of chaos: even when 1.9M was already at stake, i remained calm and decisive
Be transparent/accountable: no matter who you are dealing with, be transparent and accountable
Give room to learn more: know what you are doing, and always learn more, you are not the smartest person in the world.
allow the rule of law to play its part.

Actions
when I was doing my research, I realise that the tools to help me identify this thing and draw more conclusions are not free. and the cost of following up on the aftermath of a scam is expensive. I have decided to provide a free platform on 2Settle where you can report cryptocurrency scam and an analytical tool that will help us identify the identity of the scammers within our locality. if you know a data analyst that can provide a visual representation of fed data. please share the link to help provide a more trusted ecosystem.
thank you guys for joining in on today's series.
