S37: is web3 a deception?

Introductions

Web3 ushers innovation of ideas into the way the internet will behave, putting you at the fore front of it. many years before now, more importantly in recent times, web3 claim to allow you own your data/information. as against custodians like the big tech; starting with the freedom of money preached by bitcoin founder (Satoshi Nakamoto), that gospel became the first successful story of blockchain implemented solution. every other thing before this success was a pure explanation without evidence. and this concept have proved to be true. it allows you owns money, and give you the ultimate control. this is a full open source solution. from top to bottom, it is there for you to pick and read.

However, this doesn't come without controversy, some believed it is a paparazzied idea enveloped in the shining wrapper just to give you a perceived sense of ownership while the ultimate goal is owning and controlling your data to acheive a greater objective.

a blogger wrote and i quote "who will pay for the global data centers to serve content? whose lawyers will respond to the copyright requests? who is going to ban the Nazi accounts? who will issue delete on malicious content? who will reset grandma's password when she forgets?"
