Web3 & Gig economy

  1. We will talk about news and updates after today's intro

Web3 & Gig Economy

Letz be factual, guys, things are hard, but truth be told, things have always been hard this way, i saw a post yesterday where someone said what is happening right now is a dejavue of 2016, as he emphasis that dollar increased from 196/$ to 365/$. but in my opinion, this is dejavu with a touch of pro max. because fuel crises and battle is a completely a new debacle scenario.

But remember, when the going get tough, the tough get going! we have been addressing the problems and how to stay ahead of it. but on today career series, we will be looking at what we can do to earn extra cash to the way i am making money today!

We as comrade are tasked, How do we make extra cash from gigs

Shall we begin?

NEWS

  1. VAT increase from 7.5% to 10%

  2. Fuel subsidy saga

Web3 & Gig Economy

the first question i have today is

  1. when we say Gig, is it an online temporary things you can do to earn money over a short period or it an offline job over a short period or its both.

WHAT IS A GIG?

a gig is a temporary job or freelance work assignment

  • Short-Term Jobs: Tasks or projects that are temporary and not bound by long-term employment contracts.

  • Flexible Work Arrangements: Opportunities that allow individuals to choose when, where, and how they work.

  • Freelance or On-Demand Services: Work facilitated through digital platforms that connect freelancers with clients needing specific services.

OFFLINE GIGS

could mean that you are presence is required, it could be an hourly paid job, and accumulated to 10hrs weekly. on a $10/hr basis. that doesn't mean that it is still not a soft skill work/task. but the focus today is online gigs

ONLINE GIGS which are task that you can complete on the remotely over the internet.

and this is where WEB3 enters

WEB3

as we all know Web3 is the internet of ownership. so, the question

  1. what are the web3 gigs that people can pick up.

How do you position yourself for the benefits of gig economy in web3

You will need to ask yourself, how do i position myself to benefit or take up gigs in web3,

first off, you need to know that you are taking a gig, How do you know that, ask yourself these question

  1. will i be completing a task?

  2. will i be paid after doing it?

  3. is it temporary?

if the answer to these questions is "Yes" all through, then you are good to go. but then again, how do you get ready to benefit from this?

You need to cook yourself up. how do you cook yourself:

  1. Pick a niche.

  2. get better, take scratch courses online, use reviews to your advantage and learn faster.

  3. laptop.

  4. online tools
