Longevity & the Technology
longevity is the concept of talking about how long you will live. in the past, many people have live longer even though the advancement of technology is no where close to what we are doing right now.
In Africa, this is not a question of discussion, it is always met with God forbids, do you want me to die? No talk that kain thing. and those who have the confidence to talk about it, are religious based. it looks like a concept that shouldn't be discussed or talked about. infact, there is a myth that people who talk about it are close to dieing.
Yet many things would have been avoided if this kind of conversation are held, things like property after death (Wills), last minute respect (how you like to be remembered), especially in africa, traditions after death, rites after death. wishes and goodbye messages.
Good news is that Technology is changing that, while some are working on what continues when after death, some are working on how to live longer, how to increase life span after with 30years, 50 years and the likes.
What are some technology doing the longevity some justice.?
